CleanCo appoints General Manager Performance, Risk, and Finance as trading commencement approaches

The appointment of seasoned executive Graham Yerbury to the critical role of Genera Manager, Performance, Risk, and Finance at Queensland’s newest generator, CleanCo, brings experience and capability ahead of trading commencement on 31 October 2019.

CleanCo Chair Jacqui Walters welcomed the appointment as an important milestone for the newly established company.

“On behalf of the CleanCo Board I am delighted to welcome Graham to the team as our third permanent executive appointment,” Ms Walters said.

“Graham joins us following an extensive career in a range of senior management roles across the mining and energy sector, with organisations including Cardno, Arrow Energy and BP.”

“In this role Graham will lead the teams that support CleanCo’s business by driving a high-performance culture, managing all aspects of trading risk and supporting CleanCo with sound financial management practices.

“Graham impressed the Board with his experience in managing risk related functions, his strong commercial skills and his fit with CleanCo’s culture – especially his strong leadership skills,” Ms Walters said.

This follows yesterday’s announcement of highly experienced energy and infrastructure executive Dr Maia Schweizer as CleanCo’s inaugural permanent CEO.

“Maia and Graham will be working with our board to ensure all aspects of CleanCo’s performance and risk management are aligned to deliver on our ambitious mandates,” Ms Walters said.

“CleanCo’s capacity to deliver for the people of Queensland is greatly strengthened by Graham’s appointment.”
